  • Update: The Online HSA Science test window is now open and will remain open until the end of the school year.  Students will have two opportunities to take the grade 4 and 8 Science Bridge Assessment which will cover HSA Science and NGSS content. • The tests include NGSS items which are being field tested. The field test items appear at the end of the test and do not count towards a student’s score. These items are quite different from the typical “HCPS III items”. Teachers and students can become familiar with these items using the Hawaii NGSS Demo Items at http://alohahsap.org/HSA/training-sites/

  • Test coordinators, test administrators, or teachers of students who have the Text to Speech Designated Support should share with them this tip: To hear specific text, users can highlight the text they wish to hear then right-click and select Speak.  This tip will be useful especially for some of the NGSS items which can be quite long.
